A nude Evergreen State College freshman burst from a dorm and began assaulting people, striking two female students and a couple walking their dog before officers subdued him Wednesday afternoon, campus police said. "It appears the individual was under the influence of drugs," said Art Costantino, vice president of student affairs.

The student also tossed a flower pot through a window and shattered a Jeep's windshield with his head, police said. He was taken to St. Peter Hospital and was later booked into the Thurston County Jail for investigation of second-degree assault. No serious injuries were reported.
